We had to use a rental car recently while my car was at the shop for maintenance and we got a Hyundai Velostar for a few days.
First of all, let me address the number of doors on this compact car. Not counting the hatchback, there are 3 doors on this car. The 3rd door is on the passenger side.
Second, let's talk about this user interface, this dashboard where the driver is invited to play this "game" against himself -- the goal is to achieve a better mile efficiency in 15-minute increments.
- Coasting results in higher mpg
- Driver is constantly checking against himself in the dashboard
I can't decide if this is great for elevating drivers' efficiency awareness or dangerous for getting drivers' engagement with the product.
